Curry in a Hurry is a foodie's dream, born from chef and owner Alaksha Surti's lifelong passion for authentic Indian cuisine. Raised in Bangalore and trained at Le Cordon Bleu, Alaksha learned her craft in luxury hotel kitchens across the world before bringing her family's recipes — passed down from her mother and grandmothers — home to Raleigh. What started as a catering business in 2011 has grown into a beloved food truck and two full locations, all rooted in the same authentic flavors she grew up with.
